This privacy policy applies to individuals who are current clients of Home Loan. The primary reason we collect, use and share personal information is to serve you.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect only relevant client and consumer information that we are either allowed or required by law to obtain for conducting business, such as:

• Information we receive from you on account applications or other forms, such as name, address, Social Security number, assets, income and similar information. We use this information to administer your accounts, process transactions requested by you, provide customer services, evaluate your investment needs, and identify other products and services that may interest you.
   
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others, such as your account balance, payment history and check-writing activity. This information is used to process transactions you request and evaluate your financial needs. When you use online (Internet) products and services, we may collect data, such as transaction, site navigation and optional survey information. We use this information to provide better services.
   
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as credit relationships and credit history. We use this information to help determine your eligibility for products, collect or report debts owed to us, and protect our rights and property.

SHARING OF INFORMATION WITHIN HOME LOAN

All or a portion of information collected through applications and forms or information relating to your transactions and experiences with us may be shared among Home Loan’s affiliates. We may also share certain types of information with your consent, such as credit information.

SERVICE PROVIDERS, JOINT MARKETERS, AND CERTAIN NONAFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES

When we conduct business with third parties, we require vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them. We disclose the following information to service providers, joint marketers, and certain nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law:

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, and income;
   
• Information about your transactions with us or others, such as your account balance and payment history; and
   
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency such as your creditworthiness and credit history. We will not share your information with any service provider or joint marketer unless they agree to keep your information confidential. To further protect your information in these instances, we require service providers and joint marketers to sign a contract with us stating that your information will not be shared outside of their relationship with Home Loan.

SHARING OF INFORMATION OUTSIDE HOME LOAN

In order to better service your accounts and to improve our services, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of third parties;

• Financial service providers, such as insurance companies, mortgage companies and securities brokers and dealers.
   
• Non-financial companies, such as companies that assist us in marketing our services. If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than permitted by law). MEDICAL INFORMATION

While we sometimes must collect medical information to provide you a product or to pay a claim, we do not use or share it, internally or externally, for any purpose except the following:

• underwriting insurance;
   
• administering your policy, account, or claim;
   
• as required or permitted by law; or as otherwise authorized by you.

PROTECTING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

All Home Loan employees are instructed to use strict standards of care regarding the confidentiality of your nonpublic personal information as outlined in firm policies. Employees not adhering to our firm policies are subject to disciplinary action. We require outside companies and independent contractors to whom we provide customer information for marketing, servicing or processing to enter into a confidentiality agreement that restricts the use of information to those purposes. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable laws to protect your nonpublic personal information.
